Home

How does it feel to meet your adopted children for the very first time?

Those children for whom you have desperately longed for with every cell in your body. Those children for whom you have prayed for, grieved for, feared for.

Those children whose pictures you've studied time and time again, memorizing every minute detail. Those children who have occupied your thoughts from sun-up to sun down for months, sometimes years. Those children who you've lifted up daily in prayer and supplication to God, over and over again, sometimes wondering if He 's really listening.

Those children who have felt so far away for so long.

How do you describe it?

I have no idea, but here are a few words that come to mind...

JOYOUS
THRILLING

AMAZING

MARVELOUS

ASTOUNDING

EXHILARATING

BREATHTAKING

MIND BLOWING

But most of all...

MIRACULOUS!

Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness.
Let the whole world know what he has done.
Sing to him; yes, sing his praises. Tell everyone about his miracles!
1 Chronicles 16:8-9

So happy for you!! We have some friends who are "waiting" on their children, so I know a little bit of what you went through, because of them. Your boys are so cute and I pray that they adjust well! God is good!

Just amazing! They are just so cute and I can only imagine how happy you are to have your husband and all your boys home. Doesn't it just provoke you to worship the Lord in awe when you ponder who are we that he would heap his blessings on us? Obviously we are nothing, yet he loves us and expresses his love so richly. Congratulations! Joy
